Spectrum Miami show, it has been great exhibition much creativity and lots of fun!......
Great event at Spectrum Art in Miami,
At first glance, Felix Semper‘s works are evocative, dynamic, and intricately detailed. At second glance, his works are still evocative, dynamic, and detailed – but they also have layers upon layers of hidden meaning and depth. He pulled me aside and encouraged me to look deeper into his piece, Four. Suddenly, hidden details revealed themselves to me: Che Guevara on the right, Mickey Mouse on the top, a Gucci logo right there in the center. “We are indirectly being bombarded with advertising, media, and culture. We may not be conscious of it, but it’s there.” The more time you dedicate to each of his pieces, the more it reveals itself, the more it comes alive.
"Rico and Lola" the latest in a series of paintings titled "Cuban Grooves".
Rico and Lola were inspired in part by the bohemian lifestyle in 1950's Cuba and Barry Manilow's song "Copacabana"
"Painting and creating art is a passion for me, time and space is non existent as I am in my artistic trance ".
"Many times when I have an idea for a painting and begin to work towards it seem that the painting takes a life of its own and turns out completely different than where I thought it would end"
"Art is my wife and my artwork are my children"
